Immaculate Conception 41, Aurora Central Catholic 14 -- Alex Schaeffer caught three passes for 77 yards and rushed 20 times for 88 yards and a touchdown for the Chargers in the loss. Justin Garcia caught a 22-yard TD toss from quarterback Stewart DeWaard, who completed 10 of 13 passes for 148 yards.
Concordia (Wis.) 24, Aurora 21 -- Mike Budzinski had 16 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Spartans (3-3, 1-2).
DVC meet -- West Aurora placed fifth with a team score of 141. Matt Muth was the top individual finisher for the Blackhawks. He was 13th in 15:53.0.
UEC meet -- Waubonsie Valley came in fifth with a team score of 137, while East Aurora was seventh with a total of 187. David Groeber placed ninth for the Warriors with a time of 15:56. East's Andy Parra came in 18th in 16:24.
Interstate Eight/Independents Invite -- Plano placed second with a team score of 85. Westmont won the meet with 23. Plano's Brandon Miller came in sixth individually with a time of 17:58. Sandwich was in fifth place with 99 points. Mike Gaydos finished fourth with a time of 17:34.
SPC meet -- Oswego was sixth with 145 points, followed by Oswego East with 165. The top local finisher was Oswego East's Anthony Kunkel, 17th in 16:38.
DVC meet -- West Aurora placed fourth with a team score of 132. For the Blackhawks, Rachel Cavender placed 13th in 18:46.
UEC meet -- Waubonsie Valley came in sixth with a team score of 161, while East Aurora was 10th with a total of 307. Kristina Champman placed 14th for the Warriors with a time of 19:25. East's top finisher was Carla Salas, 55th in 21:48.
Interstate Eight/Independents Invite -- Somonauk came in second with 71 points behind Westmont (38). Emily Paull (21:22) and Jaimie Towle (21:26) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, for the Bobcats. Sandwich was fourth in the team standings with 98 points. Laurel Skorup finished 14th in 22:35. Plano's Lizy Urbina placed seventh in 21:55.
SPC meet -- Oswego East finished first with 48 points, one point better than Plainfield North. Oswego was fifth with 125. Oswego East's Ariel Michalek won the race in 18:28. Oswego's Alyson Fisher was fifth in 19:54.
WSC meet -- Kelly Whitley (18:16.5) and Kelly Shogren (18:20.5) had a 1-2 finish to lead Geneva to a team title with 22 points. Yorkville's Ali Hester finished third in 18:24.7.
Minooka Tournament -- Oswego went 1-3-1 on the day with a win and a tie against Bremen.
Plano Tournament -- The Reapers went 1-2-1 and placed eight out of 16 teams.
Maine West Tournament -- Batavia finished 10th out of 24 teams with a 3-2 record.
Sauk Valley Invitational -- Waubonsee's team score of 25 was good enough for first place. Jarek Klein won the race in 28:08.54.
Sauk Valley Invitational -- Waubonsee's Erin Cinto took 19th place in 22:31.78.
Aurora University 2, Marian 1 -- Jordan Joyce had both goals for the Spartans.
