Andy Parra makes top 10 at Royal Cadet Invite

Highlights from the Royal Cadet Invite: The boys varsity boys had two runners place in the top 20. First finisher was Andy parra in 10th with a time of 16:50.7 then followed by Gerado Paleo placing 20th in 17:09.4. Rounding out the top five was Eric Ortega(43rd, 18:08.6), Hector Ruiz(51st,18:25.7), and Felipe Rodriguez(75th,19:36.3). The sophomore team placed 9th out of 16 schools. Top finishers were Ricky Barajas placing 36th in 19:08.9 then closely followed by Cesar Gonzalez with a time of 19:09.3 placing 37th. On the girls side, the fastest times on a challenging course were produced by varsity junior runner Karla Salas with 23:38.8(49th) and freshmen Vanessa Martinez in 24:58.3(54th).
