East Aurora Boys Team Places 7th At Sectionals

The East Aurora boys cross country team placed 7th overall out of 18 teams at a very competitive sectional. The team had an impressive 25 second split between runners 1 through 5, which help the team to the highest sectional finish since 1988.  Leading the way was junior David Galvan who placed 22nd with a time of 15:20.8. David just missed qualifying individually for the state meet by 2 seconds. Rounding out the top was Felipe Nino (32nd,15;32.5), Christian Castro (42nd,15:42.1), Rubin Nino (52nd,15:45.7), and Jose Alvarado (53rd,15:46.7).  On the girls side, individuals Stephanie Nino and Aris Del Real ran personal bests in a completive race. Stephanie placed 79th with a time of 19:29.4 and Arsi placed 85th in 19:39.2 respectively. Great Job Everyone!
