4x400m Relay sets a new varsity record

At the West Aurora sectional meet, the varsity 4x400m relay team that comprised of Sergio Vargas, Gerardo Paleo, Dimitri Bouchee, and Humberto Ramirez were gunning for a state qualifying birth. The relay team had to run a time of 3:24.24 to automatically qualify for a trip down to the state at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. These tomcats had to over come a major obstacle, which was being seeded in the slow heat of the 4x400m relay. Despite being in the slow heat the relay members showed guts, determination, and were not going to let this stop them from achieving their goal.  Unfortusteeplewebly, the tomcats feel short of their main goal, but still ran a stellar time of 3:25.4. This was a season best time by over 3 seconds, set a new varsity record, and became the fastest time in the last 10 years.
