Girls volleyball
Kaneland d. Geneseo 25-27, 25-15, 25-22 -- Jessica Lubic had 10 kills, 21 assists and three blocks to lead the Knights, who also got 13 kills from Katy Dudzinski.

Aurora Christian d. IMSA 25-15, 25-18 -- Michelle Jardine had 12 assists for the Titans.

Geneva d. Larkin 25-9, 25-19 -- Brooke Binette had 11 digs and seven kills to lead the Vikings (9-2, 2-0).

Oswego d. Oswego East 25-17, 25-22 -- Sydney Volovski had seven kills, four aces and four digs for the Panthers. Destiny Stuersel added 11 assists and seven digs. Viola Lisha had seven kills and seven digs for the Wolves.

Ottawa Marquette d. Somonauk 25-20, 25-18 -- Allison Humes dished out nine assists for the Bobcats.

Plano d. Sandwich 25-15, 25-15 -- Cami Miller had 12 digs and Yvette Martinez added eight digs and seven kills for the Reapers.

Batavia d. St. Charles North 25-17, 22-25, 25-21 -- Mary Nilles led the Bulldogs with 16 assists, 11 kills and three blocks. Mary Kate Bryant added 19 assists, 13 digs and seven kills.

Rockford Christian d. Indian Creek 25-17, 22-25, 25-17 -- Cameron Wallace had 20 digs, nine points and five kills for the Timberwolves (2-2).

Yorkville d. Dixon 25-20, 25-21 -- Rebecca Nauman led the Foxes with 19 assists and three aces. Julia Craig chipped in five kills and five digs.

Hinckley-Big Rock d. Mooseheart 25-12, 22-25, 25-16 -- Kaitlin Phillips led the Royals with 17 points, eight digs, five kills and four blocks.

Joliet Catholic d. Waubonsie Valley 25-22, 25-21

Women's volleyball
Waubonsee d. IVCC 25-12, 25-20, 25-18 -- Erin Heyob collected seven aces, six digs and four kills for the Chiefs (4-3, 1-0). Paige Rosenbergh dished out 15 assists.

Beloit d. Aurora 25-23, 25-13, 25-16 -- Amy Reynolds had 11 digs and nine kills for the Spartans (2-3).

Girls tennis
Waubonsie Valley 6, Metea Valley 1 -- The Warriors (7-2, 4-0) swept four doubles matches, getting wins from the teams of Nadia Gonzalez and Anna Reimers, Lauren Kolak and Monica Baier, Priyanka Khanna and Amanda Glavin and Gennifer Taylor and Caitlyn Seed. Katie Drone and Emily Ling won singles matches for Waubonsie. Metea got a win at No. 1 singles from Kelsey Chin.

South Elgin 5, East Aurora 2 -- The Tomcats got wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles from Emily Marcoux and Yesenia Guerrero.

St. Francis 3, Rosary 2 -- Andrea Goyao won a singles match for the Royals. Rosary got a doubles victory from Katie King and Angelina Goheen.

Oswego 5, Plainfield North 2 -- Oswego swept three singles matches with Bre Vergonet, Keri Gooch and Courtney Gooch earning wins. Miranda Pence and Reynolds Cross won at No. 1 doubles. Hannah Wells and Devan Wollenberg also won for the Panthers.

IMSA 5, Kaneland 2 -- The Knights got a singles win from Amelia Napiorkowski and a doubles win from Stephanie Rosenwinkel and Maddy McMullen.

Women's tennis
Waubonsee 6, Lake County 3 -- The Chiefs (2-0) got singles victories from Alexa Schofield, Brianna Patterson, Olivia Emmanouil and Taylor Dahlstrom. Winning doubles teams were Schofield and Dahlstrom and Patterson and Emily Kuntzi.
Boys soccer
Marmion 2, Montini 0 -- Flynn Collins and Luke Elder scored goals for the Cadets (4-2-3, 3-0).

Coal City 4, Plano 1 -- Jose Montiel scored the lone goal for the Reapers.

Yorkville 3, IMSA 1 -- David Rodriguez, Javier Cervantes and Salvador Villagrana scored goals for the Foxes.

Metea Valley 3, Providence 0 -- Jojo Schmidt and Zack Bavol and Ryan Solomon had goals for the Mustangs at the Pepsi Showdown.

Lyons Township 4, Oswego 0 -- Luis Gallardo made 16 saves for the Panthers (0-3-1).

Geneva 1, Fenwick 0 -- Brady Wahl scored the lone goal to lift the Vikings (2-3-1) to the win.

Oswego East 4, Plainfield East 0 -- Edgar Martinez and Jorge Alvarez scored two goals each for the Wolves (4-4, 2-0).

Rosary 153, Somonauk 176 -- Rachel Phipps fired a 34 to earn medalist honors for Rosary. Teammate Julia Callahan shot a 37.

Batavia 167, Neuqua Valley 196, Larkin 252 -- Batavia's Megan Ramp fired a 38 to earn medalist honors.

Naperville North 163, West Aurora 169 -- Adam Baumann's 40 led the Blackhawks.

Waubonsie Valley 156, Neuqua Valley 160, Lake Park 168 -- Medalist Alec Meyer shot 36 and Alex Koulos fired a 37 to lead the Warriors.

North Central Classic -- Aurora finished ninth out of 10 teams with a score of 460.

Kaneland 24, Yorkville JV 58, East Aurora 78 -- Kaneland's Trevor Holm won the race in 16:43. East Aurora's Gerardo Paleo placed second in 16:59.
Girls cross country
Kaneland 25, Yorkville JV 45, East Aurora 74 -- Kaneland's Ashley Castellanos won the race in 22:52, seven seconds ahead of teammate Shaela Collins. East Aurora's Carla Salas was third in 23:03.
